Natasha A. Rascon, PhD is an Assistant Professor at Indiana State University. She serves as an advisory board member for the Accessibility Resource Office (ARO), Camp Kesem, and for Indiana Foster and Adoptive Parents (IFAAP) Resource and Advocacy Group. Rascon serves as the faculty advisor for the National Communication Association’s National Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta (LPH). She is also the department of communication’s liaison for the College Challenge program. Rascon serves the ISU campus in a variety of capacities, including the Commencement Speaker Selection committee and coach for the commencement speaker. Rascon enjoys being the chair of MA students’ culminating experiences as well as serving on committees.
Dr. Rascon currently serves as the program planner and Vice-Chair for the Communication as Social Construction division of NCA. She has been an active member for over a decade and has presented numerous times at the annual convention. Rascon has served as a reviewer for the division as well as chair and respondent. Rascon also reviews for the Health Communication division and has collaborated with several other divisions of NCA. Rascon has published research from a CMM perspective and is currently engaging Communication Complex (CC) in her research projects. Rascon is interested in applied research that focuses on a variety of complex situations, including those that include individuals with Autism and their families.
