Dr. Matthew Lamb

Campus:
IU, IU Indianapolis

Dr. Lamb is a communication scholar working in the areas of urban communication and urban health analysis. His research centers on built environments and their influence on our health and our lived experiences. Dr. Lamb is primarily concerned with the functioning of data ethics, bioethics, health equity and how these issues are encoded, through design, in built spaces.

His research focuses on architecture’s place in communication processes which constitute expectations of behavior which influence culture, policy, social determinants of health, and issues of health equity. His work has been featured in Frontiers in Health Communication, Journal of Urban Cultural Studies, Liminalities: A Journal of Performance Studies, Communication and Sport, and others.
